Original Abstract

56. vydanie PechaKucha Night Bratislava predstaví autorské projekty reprezentujúce utopické myšlienky, udalosti či tendencie v architektúre, dizajne, vizuálnom umení a dokumentárnom filme. Upriami sa na balansovanie medzi nereálnymi a uskutočniteľnými víziami, respektíve na artikulovanie zdanlivo nedosiahnuteľných cieľov, ktoré sa do určitej miery dokázali naplniť. Priblíži, ako umelci, umelkyne či kreatívni profesionáli a profesionálky vizualizujú svoje utopické idey, a to prostredníctvom vlastnej autorskej tvorby. Dotkne sa taktiež umeleckej reflexie utopických možností digitálnych technológií a umelej inteligencie.

English abstract

The 56th edition of PechaKucha Night Bratislava will present original projects representing utopian ideas, events or tendencies in architecture, design, visual art and documentary film. It will focus on balancing between unrealistic and feasible visions, or on articulating seemingly unattainable goals that have to some extent managed to come true. It will look at how artists, women artists or creative professionals visualize their utopian ideas, through their own original work. It will also touch upon artistic reflection on the utopian possibilities of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
