Abstract

The software platform includes two applications developed in the LabVIEW environment. The first application is designed for testing and optimizing the parameters of FSK modulation for data transmission through an acoustic communication channel, considering the available bandwidth. It allows the adjustment of basic FSK modulation parameters, enabling adaptation to specific environmental conditions. The second application enables the creation and practical testing of an acoustic transmission channel based on FSK modulation. It generates a data message with CRC, modulates it using FSK, and produces the corresponding electrical signal via the NI PXIe-6368 DAQ card. The received signals are demodulated, and possible transmission errors are corrected using triplet and LDPC methods, with LDPC being more efficient. Finally, a CRC-16 check is performed to verify the validity of the message and assess the error rate. In the absence of transmission control and error correction methods, it is possible to evaluate the data transmission error rate through a real communication channel (BER).
