Original Abstract
In this paper we discuss cellular neural networks. Chaos occurs in biological neural networks. Chaos is also exhibited by some neuron models such as the Hodgkin-Huxley and FitzHugh-Nagumo equations. A circuit for realizing the two-cell nonreciprocal cellular neural network was proposed. This circuit utilizes operational amplifiers, resistors and capacitors for the realization. For the sinusoidal forcing we observed the lady's shoe attractor and period-doubling bifurcations. The experimental results were found to be in excellent agreement with the numerical results.
