Original Abstract
In the presented article is outlined numerical analysis of a bridge cross-section. Static and dynamic action of wind on the structure is described. Transverse oscillations of the cross-section known as a galloping are referenced and a quasi-static approach of its solution is adopted. Basic assumptions for arise of these vibration produced instabilities are named. The description of the numerical and experimental model is given, enhancing advantages and disadvantages of both approaches. Some of the numerically obtained data, e.g. the flow trace, are presented.
