Original Abstract
Concrete based on gypsumfree cements are composites featuring quick initial strength (up to 3-day hardening); such strength is comparable to common concrete strength after 28-day hardening. That is why we can apply these composites to put revamped constructions into service as quick as possible. Since these concretes serve also for repairs of concrete road surface, the composites shall feature - in addition to specified strength - also resistance to cyclic de-icing, defrosting and chemical substances. Resistance of these concrete road composites to cyclic de-icing, defrosting and chemical substances is detected as late as after 28-day hardening. In case of concrete based on gypsumfree cements, there is impossible to foreclose its exposition to these conditions prior to 28-day hardening. This paper describes findings as to resistance of these concretes to defrosting and chemical substances applied to concrete surface within 3 days or 7 days respectively as from casting, and comparing the same after 28-day hardening.
