Original Abstract

This paper describes an introduction to localization of very small objects moving fast at great distances using Doppler radar head. Expected signal to noise ratio is going to be low, thus noise needs to be minimized as much as possible. In order to increase dynamic range of the system, logarithmic amplifier is used and theory of its operation is described. Signal processing is done by use of time-frequency analysis which is described at the end of the paper.
