Original Abstract

This article shows an implementation of circular buffer (also known as FIFO, first-in-first-out) with respect to high speed of data flow. Moreover, the buffer is meant to store only a pre-defined amount of data while too old data is continuously rewritten by newer data. The primary purpose of the buffer is to store pre-trigger samples while reading data from measurement card.
