V příspěvku autoři objasňují současný stav poznání v oblasti měření a hodnocení výkonnosti podniku a s tím související konkurenceschopnost podniku a tržní hodnota podniku. Dále popisují základní přístupy k benchmarkingu jako nedílné součásti systému měření výkonnosti podniku. Významnou částí příspěvku je část analýzy provedené v souvislosti s poznáním současného stavu v dané problematice. Cílem příspěvku je vyzdvihnout důležitost benchmarkingu při měření výkonnosti podniku a nutnost jeho zavádění.

In the article the authors elucidate current state of knowledge in the area of company performance measurements and evaluation associated with competitive advantage and its market value. Then they describe the main approach to benchmarking like a part of the system of company measurements. A key part of this article is a part of an analysis performed in connection with understanding of present condition in this problem. The aim of this article is thrust home an importance of benchmarking at metering efficiency company and the necessity of its loading.
