Original Abstract
This paper is a short study about utilization of a systematic approach to handle uncertainty in the context of artificial neural networks and modelling and simulation. The systematic approach to handle uncertainty is wrapped by theory known as Generalized Information Theory. This theory unites several uncertainty based formalisms into one complex theory. This paper brings a short overview of Generalized Information Thory and it also deals with how the results of this theory can be used for better design and optimization of some types of artificial neural networks as well as for interpretation of their results.
