Original Abstract

The aim of this paper is to describe a numerical method for analysis of a partial interaction in composite beams implemented in Asteres program. The composite beam is simulated by using beam elements on eccentricity for both parts of the composite section. The partial longitudinal conecction is realized via elastic eprings situated at the nodes. The method is compared to the analytical approach proposed by Seracino et al (2). Shrinkage of concrete is simulated by strain loading. Numerical study of shrinkage influence on longtudinal shear flow was accomplished.
