Original Abstract
Tall, slender and flexible structures are dominantly loaded by airlow. their dynamic response is more pronounced than that of other types of structures, as their natural frequencies are significantly lower, in the domain of high values of the wind energy. The paper presents methods of determining the dynamic load of the wind and dynamic effects of wind on the structure of an anchored mast. The wind load is analysed according to the Eurocode 1: Action on structures - Part 1-4. General actions - Wind actions, which defines the general requirements concerning the wind load on a structure with respect to the Euroocde 3: Design of steel structures - Part 3-1: Towers, mast and chimneys - Towers and masts.
