Original Abstract
The topic of this paper is an analysis of the reliability misalignment of a steel structure designed according to the EUROCODE 3. All the material and geometrical imperfections are considered to be random quantities. The beam load-carrying capacity is solved by means of the geometrically nonlinear FEM method. The probabilistic reliability assessment is calculated by the Monte Carlo method. For solution, there are considered random and fuzzy model uncertainties in determining the load-carrying capacity and loading action. The results of both variants are compared in conclusion of the paper.
