Jedno z nejdůležitějších období v průběhu životnosti betonu je období prvních dnů od uložení do konstrukce. V tomto období, kdy začíná hydratace cementu a beton začíná tuhnout a tvrdnout, je nutné věnovat se ošetřování betonu. Odpařováním vody, nebo v důsledku hydratace cementu vzniká v betonu deformace, která se nazývá smrštění. Tento příspěvek se zabývá smrštěním betonu od prvotního stádia zrání až po stáří 28 dnů. Dále porovnává vliv protismršťující přísady na smrštění vysokohodnotného betonu.

One of the most important periods in the life of concrete is the first days after placing concrete into the structure. In this period, when the hydration of cement starts and concrete is beginning to stiffen and harden, it is necessary to pay attention to the treatment of concrete. Evaporation of water or due to cement hydration comes up a concrete deformation, which is called shrinkage. This paper deals with the shrinkage of concrete from the initial stages of aging to the age of 28 days. Furthermore, compares the effect of non-shrinkage additive to the shrinkage of high performance concrete.
