Original Abstract

This paper deals with partial results of comparative measurements of soils volumetric moisture using Z-meter device and TDR probe. The main purpose of measurements was to find calibration curves for data conversion from T-meter measurements to the values of volumetric moisture of soil. In case of successful calibration, there is possibility to use Z-meter 2A for permanent automatic data gathering with wireless communication with centre. All measurements were performed in three pedoprofiles in East Slovakian Lowland, locality Senné during growing season of 2009
