Original Abstract
English abstract
This article deals with problems of biomechanics of soft tissues, namely of stress-strain analysis of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). The introduction describes briefly the possibility of aneurysm occurrence with the focus on the aneurysm in the abdominal aorta. The second chapter is concerned with the choice of suitable finite element for the computational model of the stress-strain states in AAA. The third chapter is focused on conversion procedure of CT images from PACS into 3D CAD geometry, which could be used then for computational modeling. The next part of the chapter is devoted to a simplified analysis of blood flow inside the AAA. The last section deals with 3D computational model, which is using volume finite elements, as well as 3D model, in which the volume finite elements are replaced by shell finite elements in the middle area of the wall. The last part is devoted to the geometrically simplified 3D AAA model, which was created using shell finite elements. At the end of the chapter you can find the detailed description of loads of AAA and the constitutive models used. The fourth chapter presents the results in the form of stress and displacement fields and summarized values of the maximum principal stresses in AAA wall as functions of the blood pressure. The aim of the next section is the summary of the results of the stress-strain analysis of AAA, followed by a section on the procedure and method of evaluation of the stress-strain analysis. The last section is devoted to a discussion of the results. Last chapters include the list of used literature.
