Original Abstract
This article describes measuring and analyses of acoustic parameters of rail wheels in interior conditions. The importance of acoustic and vibration measurements and analyses are unambiguous as from the point of view of human health prevention as well as from the point of view of safety, lifetime and reliability of measured establishment eventually the construction. The precise analysis provides detection and identification of noise and vibration sources and thereby their reduction. Theoretical study of this problem, the created procedure of measurement and analysis, and demonstrating of real experimental measurement of acoustic-vibration parameters different from various types of tram and rail wheels are illustrated in the article. Some new modern methods of time frequency analyses are applied in terms of measurement and analysis methodology. There are recommendations for measurement and experience in conclusion of the article.
