Original Abstract

The contribution deals with the degree of soil contamination with heavy metals in various localities of Brno city. The chosen localities represented the different level of heavy metal contamination (traffic area, roadside, peripheral urban localities and periphery of city). The heavy metal (Cd, Cu, Pb, Hg) in urban topsoil from Brno city were determined and from obtained results were assessed the level of heavy metal contamination.
