Original Abstract

The intention of this paper is to show one possible approach to solve a multi-criteria decision making problem using reference point method supplemented with interactive approach. This method is based on optimisation of a scalarising function which is derived from mini-max problem where the functions are defined as the weighted Chebychev-norm of distance from ideal solution. The interactivity is introduced using a realistically assessed desired level, enabling deci-sion maker to change its value and therefore also a weight of the Chebychev-norm. The behaviour of the method is examined and the usability is discussed.
