Original Abstract
This article describes development and construction of fluorescence photometer, which can be used as a part of optical biosensor for detection of halogenated chemicals in the envi-ronment. LED is used as a source of excitation light with wavelength 590 nm. The emissi-on light which is produced by immobilized fluorescence pH indicator is scanned using high sensitive photodetector. The photodetector measures light in the range from 300 nm to 900 nm. The device is currently under testing in the laboratory of end users.
