Original Abstract
The question of the track geometry stability influence of track bed layers and by the ballast upon has not been answered yet. The article gives general information on the state of art and development in railway infrastructure diagnostic – continuous track bed diagnostic with estimation of the lateral track resistance. Proposed method for the continuous track bed diagnostic uses dynamic track stabilizers or ballast compactors. The dynamic path measurement is also described as the method for the comparison of new track and switch point components. There are discussed main fundamentals of the method for dynamic measurements and their appropriate evaluation. These principles are demonstrated by dynamic measurements done before.
