Original Abstract

Presented article deals with the importance of SMEs from the point of the export. On one hand, SMEs represent factors supproting the increase of exports; on the other hand, the export itself id the opprotunity for their futher development and growth. Mentioned statement is confirmed by available statistical data as well as results of the research realized in the years 2002-2004 at the Faculty Business and Management, Brno Universita of Technology.
