Original Abstract
Hydrocarbon reservoirs of the Transcarpathian Basin are located in structures the gravity responses of which are influenced partly by those of intensive intermediary volcanism and mainly by those of lower crust rocks with anomalous densities. In our contribution, we present a method of gravity data separation, based on analysis and subsequent filtering-out the effects of those high-density masses in lower crust. Such separation is substantial with regard to the gravity modeling of the sedimentary/volcanic infill as well as from the aspect of analysis of the reservoir potential. We present an example of such separation within the area of Ptrukša gas field. The outputs have been controlled by new detailed gravity profile measurements.
