Article contents are the results of research carried out on model fo heat engine, which was developed at the Department of Electrical Power Engineering, FEEC, BUT. Based on the analysis of design and load characteristics engine was made modifications of design compression cylinder, which forms a thermal bypass between the heated and cooled space.
