Original Abstract

Nebezpečí chemického terorismu z obojích nebezpečných chemických látek, takových jako bojových chemických látek a toxických průmyslových látek jsou diskutovány. Článek shrnuje mezinárodní zkušenosti v této oblasti ze čtyř speciálních konferencí a symposií v Evropě. Z historického hlediska jsou diskutovány otevřené zdroje informací o nebezpečných chemických látkách a prevence závažných chemických havárií. Zdůrazněna je potřeba modelování následků terorismu a závažných chemických havárií. Je nabídnut nový přístup ke komplexní analýze rizika pro nebezpečné chemické látky a procesy.

English abstract

The danger of chemical terrorism based both on hazardous chemical substances, such as chemical warfare agents and industrial toxic chemicals is discussed. The article summarizes international experience in this filed and informs on four special conferences and symposia in Europe dealing with the topic. Open information sources on dangerous chemicals, prevention of major chemical accidents and the future development are discussed from the historical point of view. The necessity of modelling the consequences of terrorism and major chemical accidents is emphasized. A new approach to complex risk analysis for dangerous industrial chemicals and processes is offered.
