Original Abstract
This article deals with problems associated with its operating characteristic of the Stirling engines. The Stirling engine's parameters depend on both theoretical analysis applying Schmidt's Theory, which mathematically describes the Stirling cycle, and on experimental measurements, which reveal its actual properties. The design and contraction of the Stirling engine should be based on results of theoretical calculations and applied physics as well as data derived from practical measurements. Its model was constructed in Department of electrical power engineering laboratory (UEEN) and was analyzed and measured to obtain new knowledge of its features. Based on this, a proposal for the new construction of the Stirling engine regenerator was made. The goal of this project is a detailed analysis of Stirling engine's thermodynamic processes aimed to reach better technical parameters (efficacy, power output), as well as analysis of working and dynamic features focused on optimization its function as a cogeneration unit.
