Original Abstract
A proper modification of the Pisarenko-Lebedev and combined Mohr and maximum principal stress brittle fracture conditions was proposed for the safety evaluation, taking into account the plastic deformation in the compressive region. Two steps theoretical-experimental approach is suggested to astimate the low cycle fatigue. In the first one the stress time course is calculated in the most stressed costruction element. In the second step, the lifetime is measured experimentally with the help of the testing machine for the cubic specimens under the 2-D cyclic loading.
