V textu jsou popsány základní vlastnosti FRP výztuží, jejich výhody a nevýhody. Je popsán současný stav technických norem a zméněna některá opatření nutná pro zavedení těchto materiálů do praxe.

In the text there are described basic characteristics of the FRP materials and their advantages and disadvantages. Current situation is explained concerning local standards. Also some necessary steps are mentioned that are needed to introduce these materials into the practical use.
