Original Abstract

Po povodních, které se udály v poslední dekádě minulého a počátkem tohoto století, dochází k celkovému přehodnocování návrhových parametrů vodních děl (dále jen VD) s ohledem na jejich bezpečnost a kapacitu. Zvýšení hodnoty návrhových průtoků vede k nutnosti ověřit kapacity stávajících funkčních a bezpečnostních objektů většiny přehrad vybudovaných do poloviny minulého století. Složitost a singularity proudění na funkčních objektech vodních děl vyžaduje detailní pozornost a experimentální přístup k řešení dané problematiky.

English abstract

Extreme floods which occurred in the Czech Republic in the last decade of the 20th century were the reason for a total reassessment of the design parameters of dams with respect to their safety and the capacity of safety instrumentations. Enhancement of nominal discharge values has led to the necessity of verification of the capacity of the existing functional and safety structures in most of the dams which had been built by the first half of the last century. The complexity and singularities of flow over the functional structures of dams require special attention and an experimental approach to the problem solution.
