Original Abstract
The topic of the paper is a theoretical and experimental investigation of an optical method for surface quality analysis. The method is based on scanning the surface by the defocused laser beam. The method is theoretically described and the most important theoretical results are discussed. The experimental data are analyzed from the point of utilization of the method for the determination of roughness and wavines prepared by abrasive water jets. The correlation between theoretical and experimental results and the algorithm of the optical measurement are also discussed.
