Original Abstract

The presentation shows solution of two environmental problems connected with road traffic - material usage of scrap tyres and traffic noise reduction. Crumb rubber granulate is mixed with hot paving bitumen and the asphalt-rubber binder is used in asphalt-rubber mixtures for road wearing courses. These mixtures can help to reduce the traffic noise.
