Original Abstract

This paper describes an efficient method of a high speed data signal filtering. In the present time, the high-speed communication equipments require the simple fast algorithms for the data processing. This research was solved for the DSP high speed GMSK modem design. The new filtering algorithm is based on the large table of the filter output values, which are picked out according to a binary input sequence. This method has been applied in FSK modem [1], where the standard EPROM was used as the table of the output values. The very simple algorithm has been designed, which enables the sampling rate to be up to tenth of the DSP instruction cycle and essentially limits the necessary size of the ouput values table. The method brings new possibilities of the high-speed data processing
