Original Abstract

The paper deals with preparation of Sn-Ag-Cu (SAC solder) nanoparticles by laser ablation technique. Metal nanoparticles are considered as potential candidates for use as solder materials for high temperature applications. Laser ablation is one of the most efficient methods for preparation of nanoparticles. The method consists in the ablation of a solid material by an intense laser radiation, yielding to an ejection of its constituents, and to the formation of nanostructures. Aerosol received by laser ablation was caught on cyclopore etched membrane. Separation of single particles was maked in the solution water-spirit using the ultrasonic shaker for duration of 15 minutes Two-stage replica was prepared to determination the size of nanoparticles and for observation in TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy).
