This paper deals with the teaching of nonlinear phenomena and deterministic chaos at Brno University of Technology. Contemporary situation of the teaching of these problems is analysed with the statement that the above mentioned themes are insufficiently represented. The possibilities how these problems may be encopassed in the course structure, are mentioned.
