Abstract
Programs provide an approximation of trends based on maximum autocorrelation factors as applied in Hrdlickova, Z.: MODELING OF TRENDS IN TIME SERIES BASED ON MAXIMUM AUTOCORRELATION FACTORS. International Association of Mathematical Geology, IAMG06, Liege, 2006. Note, that unlike in (Switzer), the MAFs are not smoothed before using for the approximation of the trend. The MAFsmooth programs were written under support of the project from MSMT of the Czech Republic no. 1M06047 Center of Quality and Reliability of Production and the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences.
