Original Abstract

- This contribution is aimed at a visualization of air-jet shapes, which serve to determine air distribution in rooms. The measurements are carried out using Mach-Zehnder interferometer and CCD camera connected to a computer. The visualization of air-jet from the outlets gives a comprehensive picture of the jet area followed. The interferometric researches also prove that from the interferograms of free lightly non-isothermal jets the constants of air outlets can be defined. For the slot outlet of a nozzle-shape, the dependence of outlet constant on the temperature and velocity of outflowing air is specified.
