Abstract

BearDyn release 1.0 is a software tool for a solution of slide bearing hydrodynamics. The inputs are reaction forces in slide bearing solved via Multi-Body Systems, computational languages or only EXCEL program. The Newton Raphson iterative schema is used for numeric solution of equilibrium. The oil film pressure is based on solution of Reynolds equation using finite difference method. The software includes pre-processor, solver and postprocessor.
