Original Abstract
This paper deals with how to create a national image. In the first part the theoretical background is outlined, the aspects which are important in creating image. Then the paper summarizes the problems of creating image of the Czech Republic. It includes the characteristics of organizations which are responsible for the spreading image of the Czech Republic abroad, the problems with creating the logograph for the Czech Republic and a perception of the Czech Republic by inhabitants of Germany.
