Original Abstract

Magnetic particles are increasingly attractive for diverse application in numerous medical and biological areas, such as diagnostics, drug targeting, and biotechnology. The use of magnetic particles in biology imposes strict requirements on physical, chemical and pharmacological properties of the particles, including low toxicity, biocompatibility, and non-interference with teh chemical environments in diagnostics.
