Original Abstract
This paper presents a project financed by the University Development Fund reg. no. 2076/2011/G1. The aim of the project is innovation and expansion of teaching of Theoretical Informatics. The main goal of the project is to create two new laboratory exercises oriented to evolutionary algorithm optimization, which comes in useful in various areas of the modern world, e.g. task or job planning in manufacturing companies, optimization of production processes, robot controlling and many others. Laboratory exercises will be supported by practical examples. Under the terms of project a part of laboratory was modernized by two computational stations with high performance for simulation of demanding evolutionary computations. The aim of the project is also to increase efficiency of teaching and extend students knowledge in this area to be competitive on the labor market.
