Abstract

VolGa is a Matlab based utility designed to calculate the Volume of a printer Gamut. Other features useful for gamut comparison and print fading evaluation are also implemented. VolGa currently provides the following features and functions: - Gamut volume calculation - Batch gamut volume calculation of multiple samples - Gamut vizualization as 2D a*b* plane cross section at selectable L* value - Gamut vizualization as 3D in L*a*b* space - Color difference heat map
