Original Abstract

The failure probability prediction method of power oil transformers is described in this paper. This method is based on the theory which embodies the time series modeling and the diagnostic methods analyzing the gases dissolved in transformer insulation oil. The considered diagnostics methods are Duval triangle method, method according to the ČSN EN 60599 standard, Doernenburg ratio method and Rogers ratio method. At the end of the paper, the suitability of the used time series trends and the effect of individual diagnostic methods on the prediction are compared.
