Original Abstract
The finite element method (system ANSYS) is used for solving of eigenvalue problem and sound transfer calculations. Different methods of the mathematical model preparations are discussed inclusive the transformation of computer tomography data in finite element model. From the point of view of sound transmission the real geometry and absorption of the walls of external auditory canal, the elastic behavior of the eardrum and the influence of middle ear cavity are taken in account. The results of mathematical modeling are compared with experimental pressure measurements and audiometric investigations.
