Abstract
The RFID grand-daughterboard (GDB) is an add-on module for interface between the software-defined radio (SDR) baseband processing and RF signals in the UHF band. The GDB includes a power amplifier, which is able to deliver up to 33 dBm, a directional coupler and a precise power detector. It is supported by power supply IC and EEPROM for GDB identification by the SDR. The designed target frequency range is 800-1000 MHz with guaranteed parameters and 700-1100 MHz with lower performance. The developed module allows precise RFID measurements according to ISO 18046 standard and EPCglobal Tag Performance Parameters and Test Methods.
