Homepage reSearcher is an application extending the functionality of Mendeley (http://www.mendeley.com/) towards automatic monitoring of new publications and personalized search. It finds authors' homepages, processes their content and suggests new publications based on user profiles. Users can run the process once or repeatedly by using watch lists. The system checks all pages on the watch list every time the user logs in. (We are currently working on daily monitoring and updates published on personalized dashboards / sent by e-mail.) Users can easily add newly extracted publications to their Mendeley libraries. How it can scoop all others? Mendeley is updated from large academic databases and publisher announcements every day.
