Original Abstract
Currently there is an idea to use scanning near-field optical microscope for biological re-search. There are various microscopic methods and techniques that allow us to examine more closely the structure of the micro-world. In this paper we try to use SNOM (scanning near-field optical microscope) as a cheaper option than TEM (transmission electron microscope) in the observation of biological specimens (human osteosarcoma cell line, U2OS).
