Original Abstract

Comparison of irregularly sampled velocity courses represents a problem which is difficult to solve using commercially available statistical software. On that account, novel in-house software CIRDA was developed. In order to compare two samples of data, CIRDA combines usage of kernel regression technique and statistical tests of randomness (tests based on signs of differences, Kendall's rank correlation coefficient test, Spearman's rank correlation coefficient test, turning point test, median test of randomness). The software was applied on velocity data acquired by Phase Doppler Anemometry in a realistic model of human lungs.
