Original Abstract
Still growing worldwide trend of energy efficiency, reducing its consumption and successful finding of alternative sources of energy leading to changes in the construction industry. For instance, use of natural materials, recycled materials and their composites. Within sustainable construction and development is a quest to find a balance between ecology, economy and energy. Particularly new polymer waste propose either recycled materials as their original products, or recycled one, which is used for example as a part of the composite material. Composite material is a system that carries more phases, which are separated from each other macroscopically. Attributes of composite materials are a unique combination of properties bearing the individual components. Attributes of composite material can be achieved by using a single component material and cannot reach them by summation properties of individual components aswell. Based on this research can be a composite material formed very individually, depending on the structure and environment which are designed. In many aspects, its attributes can outperform traditional materials such as steel or wood.
