Při posuzování bezpečnosti přehrad je klíčový výkon technickobezpečnostního dohledu, jehož součástí je měření vybraných veličin. Výsledkem sledování jsou rozsáhlé soubory dat, které je třeba souhrnně zpracovat a analyzovat. Statistické metody umožňují vyhodnotit závislosti mezi měřenými veličinami, trendy v chování vodního díla, popř. extrapolaci vývoje hodnot vybraných veličin v budoucnosti, popř. při extrémním zatížení. K tomu mohou sloužit korelační počet, regresní a shluková analýza a některé další metody. Článek se zabývá analýzou nehomogenních dat a statistickou analýzou závislostí

Technical surveillance is very important for the dam safety assessment. Part of the surveillance is the monitoring and analysis of selected independent and dependent quantities. The resulting extensive data sets should be analysed using statistical methods which enable the assessment of trends in dam behaviour, the relations between individual measured variables and also the prognosis and extrapolation of measured values for extreme loads of a dam. In the paper, the analysis of non-homogeneous data using cluster analysis is demonstrated at first. Correlation and regression analyses are used for the tightness and dependence analysis of the measured data. The importance of residue analysis is strongly recommended. Finally, the application of autocorrelation analysis is mentioned in brief, together with possible problems arising in the use of this method
