Studium materiálů použitelných v případě náhrady ledu v ledových kondenzátorech použitých v kontejnmentech jaderných elektráren. Studie se zabývá především vlastnostmi přímo použitelnými při akumulaci tepla, ale pozornost je věnována také jiným aspektům jejich aplikace.
English abstract
Utilization of materials enabling the applicable accumulation of heat in the nuclear power industry yields in new aspects of specific problems from the perspective of improving nuclear safety. Study of these materials can be used to design new concepts of nuclear safety solutions, or after the modification of a specific device can be directly implemented into existing functional units. In this study the chosen materials are mentioned and investigated by differential scanning calorimetry. Generally, these materials can be grouped according to the elemental composition and the basic chemical classifications. By the investigation were compared paraffins, sugar alcohols, selected salt hydrates, fatty acids and dextrose. The investigated materials are compared by the specified temperature range together with water. Water is understandable reference material not only in general but also in practical use; the exemplary application in an industrial ice condenser of selected nuclear power plants. Thermodynamic properties in the study of materials are well known with certain precision (either from the literature, data sheets or scientific publications), but a closer examination can also evaluate other characteristics which may be used in nuclear power to influence the final selection of the right material for heat accumulation.
