Original Abstract
The acoustic emission testing is a modern non-destructive method using transient elastic waves. It is commonly used for condition monitoring, leak detection or structural monitoring. This paper describes an influence of the various couplants on the selected acoustic emission parameters. The amplitude, rise time and duration are compared depending on temperature. The measurements were performed in two series at 20 C and 80 C.
